Countdown
Enter a Unix timestamp (seconds or milliseconds, auto-detected) to see in real time how long until that moment, or how long since.
Countdown to a Target Timestamp
Enter the timestamp of a future (or past) moment and the tool counts down in real time how many days / hours / minutes / seconds remain; if that moment has passed, it shows how long ago. You can also copy a share link with the target parameter so the other person opens the same target.
All computation happens locally in your browser.
Features
- Seconds/ms auto-detect — 10 digits read as seconds, 13 as milliseconds — no manual switch.
- Live countdown — Days/hours/minutes/seconds remaining or elapsed, refreshed every second.
- Shareable link — Generates a link with ?target= so the recipient reproduces the same target.
How to use
- Enter the target timestamp in the input box.
- The page shows the countdown instantly.
- Click "Copy share link" to share the result page with others.
FAQ
The time shown when I open the share link differs from yours?
The target timestamp in the link is an absolute UTC instant; the "time remaining" depends on the opener's local current time, so different people and times see different remainders, but the target moment itself is the same.
