World Time Zones & Current Time
When collaborating across zones, the annoying part is working out "what time is it for them". This table lists each major zone's current UTC offset and local time together, and handles daylight saving automatically — you do not need to remember who moves the clock an hour each season.
Times are computed locally in your browser and refreshed every second, with no network needed.
Features
- Major zones — Covers UTC and 14 common IANA zones across China, Japan, India, Europe and the Americas.
- Automatic DST — Offsets follow the current date's daylight-saving rules; no manual add or subtract.
- Live refresh — Current time updates every second for direct comparison.
How to use
- The table already lists each zone's offset and current time.
- For another zone, convert by its IANA name or send feedback to add it.
FAQ
Why does the offset sometimes change?
Regions with daylight saving move the clock forward an hour in summer, so the same zone's UTC offset differs by month. The page applies the current-date rule automatically.
Are "UTC" and "GMT" the same?
For everyday use, essentially yes; strictly, UTC is atomic-clock based and GMT is astronomical, and they agree to the second. This site labels offsets with UTC.
